A crisp and lively dry white, lightly aromatic with characters of peach, baked apple and citrus fruits on the nose. Ripe orchard fruists on the nose with hints of honey and peach. Medium bodied with fresh lemony fruit and underlying hints of nuts, straw and a gently honeyed finish.

Established in 2003, Adria Vini is the leading co-operative in the Monferrato hills of Piemonte. Their aim is to produce authentic, well-priced still and sparkling wines from local grape varieties. All aspects of production, from grape selection through to vinification, maturation, blending and bottling are meticulously overseen by Araldica's winemaking team of Claudio Manera and Lella Burdese - assisted by Tony Brown MW. They source from a range of private growers and cooperatives, with whom they have long term relationships, principally in Veneto, Friuli, Lombardy, Sicily, Puglia, Abruzzo and Sardini

From Pinot Grigio grapes grown in the Veneto, northern Italy. Il badilisc is the result of a selection of the best quality grapes from mature vineyards, which were hand harvested in late August / early September. The grapes were crushed and gently pressed and the juice allowed to settle and clarify before cool fermentation at 16 to 18C in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine was aged for a period of 3 to 6 months on fine lees in stainless steel tanks before bottling.

Serve as an aperitif or with seafood and fish dishes, salads and cold meats. It also has enough richness to accompany roast poultry and poached salmon.
