Made with carefully selected grapes from superior plots, this is a rich, ripe and rounded, although still dry, wine. Pale golden yellow with floral and spice aromas, very textural with a long, slightly smoky finish.

Widely regarded as one of the best co-operatives in the world, Cave de Turckheim are situated at the mouth of the Munster Valley and work closely with 180 partners who's vineyards span the breadth of Alsatian terroir and grape varieties. Significant investment in the winery allows a high degree of separate vinification, offering Michel Lihrman (senior winemaker for 25 years) to select the nuances of variety and soil types in his signature dry style of wines. Committed to producing the highest quality wines (growers are encouraged to keep yields low and pick by hand) and long term advocates of sustainable practices, Cave de Turckheim have the largest organic vineyard holdings in Alsace.

Harvesting is by hand and machine, and winemaking is 'traditional' and overseen by Jean Michel Lihrmann - pneumatic pressing, temperature controlled fermentation, no finings and light filtration before bottling - all to preserve fruit and aromatic qualities and elegance. His philosophy is to make wines with good acidity and fruit balance.

Perfectly compliments exotic flavours along with fish, chicken or vegetable dish, particularly if you are cooking with Thai or Asian spices, ginger or chilli.
