Well crafted Pinot Noir from the south of France.
Le Fo' translates as The Madman, as it has long been thought only a madman would try to produce the perfect Pinot Noir in southern France. Obviously fuller than Pinot Noir from Burgundy with warm, ripe cherry fruit intense and sweet with a savoury twist. Gentle acidity and tannins add balance to this smooth, appealing red, perfect if you prefer a riper, fruitier style of Pinot.
Pinot Noir planted in the sun drenched vineyards of the Southern Languedoc.
Pinot Noir grapes were hand picked at optimum ripeness then cool vinified to enhance the fresh fruit flavours. No oak was used to keep this wine as pure and sensual as possible.
Lovely with grilled lamb, cold meats, wild mushroom risotto, home-baked ham.
