Tasting Notes

A pure fruit driven nose, perfumed with cut limes and a hint of petrol. The wine has a perfumed honeyed palate and is intensely fruity with white peach flavours and mineral complexity. The finish is dry, refreshing and beautifully balanced, and incredibly open for a young Alsace.

Cave de Turckheim is situated in the pretty village of Turckheim situated to the north west of Colmar. In the vineyard

Grapes are sourced from selected prime vineyards lying on siliceous soil. Harvesting is by hand or machine, depending on the site.

In the winery

In the winery temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation tanks are used to preserve the freshness of the wines.

The ideal 'food' wine, the fine citrus characters make this Riesling the perfect partner for fish, seafood and shellfish. Good with poultry, particularly roast chicken and hearty summer salads.
