This Reserva Rioja has an intense red colour, it is complex, rich and elegant to the nose, with intense aromas. It shows good, careful ageing. The tannins of this big wine have been well-managed and brings to mind ripe mature fruit and gentle spice.

Producer details

Leza Garcia are family-owned wine producers, based on an integrated management of the vineyard and of the winery. They take care, and are proud of, the whole process - from the vineyards to the bottle. They grow their grapes in their Najerilla Valley vineyards, in the heart of the Rioja Alta. They produce wines which are unique and have their own personality, showing the terroir and their own winemaking style and knowledge. Bodegas Leza Garcia remain true to their inherited winemaking values while offering different and modern wines, with their own personality, showing the terroir where the grapes are grown.

Made from 90% Tempranillo and 10% Red Grenache. This wine is made from a selection of grapes from the producer's best vineyards.

In the winery

After meticulous winemaking it remains in American and French oak barrels for at least 24 months and continues its ageing process in the bottle for at least 12 more months.

This wine is a great match with grilled and stewed meat. It also goes well with oven-baked fish or fish in sauce, as well as cold meats and strong, dry cheeses.
