The Tempranillo grapes are sourced from 30-year-old vines, which contribute to the wine's complexity and intensity. The grapes are hand-harvested to ensure only the best fruit is selected for production.
After harvesting, the grapes are aged for 12 months in a combination of 80% French and 20% Russian oak barrels. This aging process, although characteristic of a declassified Reserva, is primarily aimed at enhancing the wine's quality and bringing out its nuanced flavours.
