Merlot dominated blend for great drinkability. Refreshing wine with a nose of light black fruits. Full-bodied on the palate, with attractive tannins and a subtly lingering finish

The heritage goes back to members of Toulouse-Lautrec family, the great grandmother of Henri Toulouse Lautrec owned the Chateau. For the past 160 years it has been under the owenership of the Miailhe family, who refused Cru Bourgeois status in 2003, with the view to being in control of their own wines and style without constraints.

S de Siran, is considered to be the cadet of Château Siran. Coming from the same gravel plateau as Château Siran, S is the result of a rigorous selection of younger vines.

Vinified in the same way as the grand vin, it is distinguished by a predominantly Merlot blend that gives it immediate charm, withn sturcture fomr 12 months in new oak.

90 Points - Vert de Vin. 'S de Siran' is the 2nd Wine of the Grand Vin Château Siran Margaux. Coming from the same gravel plateau as Château Siran, S de Siran is the result of a rigorous selection of younger vines, but vinified in the same way as the Grand Vin. Distinguished by a predominantly Merlot blend, this gives it immediate drinkability, however, coming from the fabulous 2019 vintage, this wine is showing at its best now but could comfortably age for another 5+ years. This is an excellent value and very drinkable Margaux with a wonderful pedigree.
