A crispy and bright dry Rosé with refreshing cirtus and red currant fruit.
With its delicately pale colour and crisp natural acidity, citrusy nose and light texture, this makes for a great all rounder with a variety of cuisine.
Pronounced SORG-fleet, which roughly translates as “no worriesâ€, Zorgvliet is a small family-owned winery in Banghoek, one of the six “wards†or districts of Stellenbosch. Zorgvliet is a stunning spot at one end of the Simonsberg Mountain on the beautiful Helshoogte Pass (Hell's Heights) that winds between Stellenbosch and Franschoek. Head winemaker Neil Moorhouse is a delightful guy and extremely talented, as well as being very well connected with all the young garagiste types that come through the winery. Zorgvliet's exceptional mountain vineyards are amongst the highest in Stellenbosch.
Sourced from vineyards 10k from the sea at an altitude of 260-300 metres with a an average age of 12 years. The grapes were de-stemmed and lightly crushed. The juice was immediately pressed, (only the lightest pressings are used) and cold settled for 2 days at 8ºC. Thereafter the clear juice was racked off its gross lees and transferred to stainless tanks for fermentation. No malo, no oak.

Great with anything with a shell, prosciutto and herby veg dishes.
