The Angels have landed...

Earlier on this year we had the pleasure to meet Logan and his beautiful wife in St Tropez. They own one of the last few vineyards actually in St Tropez, passed down from his parents, Logan has taken hold of the mantle of production and sales. We tasted the wines last year and were impressed. This year, the 2015 vintage was superb so we decided to import it directly.
We visited their Château and vineyards in May 2015. The slopes are east facing and slant towards the sea overlooking Pamplone beaches (where the rich and famous love to play)! The vines have ideal growing conditions - the soils are dry, well drained with good mineral content, the position of the vineyard has oceanic influences and the hills behind protect the vines from storms, but still allow the mistral to blow through the vines keeping humidity to a minimum.
We are thrilled to have Angelvin at Hattersley Wines and are looking forward to a long and happy relationship!
Tasting Notes
The attractiveness of Angelvin is the paleness of her dress, a light pink tinge attracts the eye. On the nose there are full fruit aromas of mango and peach. The flavour and charm of the wine is the balance between this ripe fruit and mineral freshness with a punch of acidity to give a long lasting quality that leaves the palate just wanting more!
Granache 70%, Mouverdre 20%, Cinsault 10% = 100% Perfect combination!
Angelvin is available to buy online and will be available with many others to taste at our Annual Summer tasting Friday 24th and Saturday 25th of June, at Hattersley Wines Bakewell.
