Highly sought after and award winning!

This week's pair of treats are classic varieties with some unique flair. A Canadian Sauvignon Blanc and a high altitude Argentinian Malbec are on offer at exceptional value for their quality and complexity. Both award winners, these both should be next on your list to try.

We want to continue to say thank you for all the support we have been given over the last year the best way we know how...by offering incredible wines at honest prices with some amazing weekly treat wines thrown in! We aren't trying to move stock with these wines, we haven't inflated any prices to give a discount, we genuinely aren't making any money on these wines... hence why we are only letting you take TWO BOTTLES MAXIMUM

Project 'B' Sauvignon Blanc

A Sauvignon Blanc from a premium single vineyard located in Oliver, in the south end of the Okanagan Valley.

Classically Sauvignon Blanc, zingy and crisp, with refreshing pineapple notes. A good balance of citrus and minerality linger on the finish, showing both restraint and opulence. For a little extra magic, a thimble (3%) of barrel-aged Semillon is added for texture and finesse.

While exploring sites in Okanagan Valley, Boutinot's head winemaker Eric Monnin, had an immediate connection with British Columbian winemaker, Michael Bartier, and his deep understanding of the region's strengths and potential. The name is in reference to the fact that the letter 'B' surfaced as a constant in this partnership: a Boutinot-Bartier team, the first harvest from Plot B and as a special nod to the Boutinot Rhone symbol of quality, the worker bee; a common thread that connects all elements of this project....more

Kaiken Ultra Malbec

A well-structured and intense Malbec sourced from 3 distinct areas, each bringing unique influences.

This wine is deep ruby red in colour, with purple tones and a wonderful display of rich aromas. The nose is enticing and spicy with black fruit and floral notes. Structured with soft tannins that lead to a finish that is fresh, complex and long. Fruit notes and subtle tones of rosemary, thyme and dried flowers linger on the finish.

Kaikenes are wild geese, native to Patagonia, that fly across the Andes between Chile and Argentina. In the same way, Montes, the Chilean winery, crossed the Andes to set up in Mendoza. Their vineyards are situated in the heart of Mendoza and further to the south in Valle de Uco, where many of the premium producers are now sourcing their fruit. The variations in altitude and soil type result in grapes with distinct characteristics that give unique and highly complex wines....more
