Weekly treats are back with a bang! Amazing wines, unbelievable prices!

This week we have a big, crowd pleasing Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc for you alongside a fantastically firm and ripe Barolo. 

We want to continue to say thank you for all the support we have been given over the last year the best way we know how...by offering incredible wines at honest prices with some amazing weekly treat wines thrown in! We aren't trying to move stock with these wines, we haven't inflated any prices to give a discount, we genuinely aren't making any money on these wines... hence why we are only letting you take TWO BOTTLES MAXIMUM. 

 

 

Framingham Sauvignon Blanc. New Zealand.

A top class Sauvignon from some of the oldest vineyards in Marlborough

The wine has smoky aromatics, with flint, bitter lemon citrus, grapefruit and tropical hints. The palate is rich, slightly chewy with good mouthfeel, texture and harmony. Flavours of yellow citrus, currant, papaya and sweet herbs carry through the finish

Fruit for the Sauvignon Blanc was sourced from seven different sites, including the Framingham estate vineyard in the Conders Bend, Renwick, Dry Hills and Rapaura sub-regions. The various soil types of these sites all contribute different elements to the blend. Each parcel of fruit was kept seperate in the winery, with the juices predominantely fermented in stainless-steel tanks, however 11% of the final wine was fermented in oak and 5% was fermented on skins...more

Alasia Barolo

A firm and ripe Barolo with grapes sourced from exceptional vineyard sites. 

Dark plum, leather and delicate violet aromas, plus notes of vanilla and spice. A full, firm and ripe red with an elegant and silky texture, giving a beautiful, lengthy finish.

Produced by one of Piemonte's largest  and most progressive co-operative that retains a small, family run company feel.
