Valentines Day is just around the corner, so this week we're offering up two delicious wines we know you'll fall head over heels for. First up is a brooding, beauty of a Malbec from Nieto's premium Agrelo vineyards that will be the perfect partner for any red meat that may be on the menu. Next on offer is an award-winning, youthful Riesling made by husband and wife duo Zar and Elena Brooks in their Eden Valley enchanted garden. These are two fantastic wines we know you'll love!

Nieto Don Nicanor Malbec

Brooding and intense, this is a real top quality, classic Malbec. 

Nieto Senetiner has grown to become one of the leading stars of Mendoza, where their vineyards and winery were developed in 1969 and continue to be extended and updated. The top wines come from the famed sub-district of Agrelo where they are selected by longstanding winemaker Robert Gonzalez from their vineyards aged between 40-45 years old.

This wine is a real classic from Nieto's premium Agrelo vineyards, with flavours reminiscent of those desert soils. A dark, dense and complex nose is full of sweet cranberries, blackberries and rich mocha characters. The palate is smooth and rounded with supple tatnnins and a long, intense finish with hints of bitter chocolate and spice...more

Dandelion 'Enchanted garden of the Eden Valley' Riesling

A phenomenal Riesling from beautiful old vineyards. 

Dandelion Vineyards are proven plantings that have stood the test of time, encouraging the humble dandelion amongst the vines as they suppress winter weeds and provide mulch in the summer. The Enchanted Garden was planted in 1910 and thrives to this day, as a seven acre Eden Valley vine garden, lovingly tended to by Sue and Stuart Woodman.

Bright in the glass with tinges of green and white-gold. This wine has classic aromas of citrus zest, candied peels, dragon fruit and hints of herbs and rye seeds.
