We're spoiling you with these two!

This week we have a heavy hitting, award winning, Spanish Garnacha alongside a really special, modern take on Californian Chardonnay. These two wines are fantastic with food so this weeks pairings are bound to get the tastebuds tingling.

We want to continue to say thank you for all the support we have been given over the last year the best way we know how...by offering incredible wines at honest prices with some amazing weekly treat wines thrown in! We aren't trying to move stock with these wines, we haven't inflated any prices to give a discount, we genuinely aren't making any money on these wines... hence why we are only letting you take TWO BOTTLES MAXIMUM.

Alasia GaviShadow Point Chardonnay

A modern look at Californian Chardonnay from the Central Coastal region.

The name Shadow Point relates to the shadows that form over the vineyard as the setting sun falls in the west behind the neighbouring hills. After careful selection, fruit is gently pressed before fermentation in stainless steel, with only 20% of the blend being aged in used French oak for 6 months

The perfect wine to enjoy with buttery, creamy sauces.  We like this Chicken and mushroom risotto

Tres Picos Garnacha
Bordeaux Private Reserve by Salin

A full-bodied, hedonistic expression of old-vine Garnacha grown at altitude.

Bodegas Borsao was established in 2001 and is a collection of three of the most progressive co-operative cellars in the Campo de Borja zone, southest of Rioja. The vineyards lie in the undulating foothills of the Moncayo mountain, where hot dry days and cool nights allow the Garnacha to thrive.

This wine opens with an intense bouquet of mature red fruits with elegant floral notes, typical of the best Garnachas. The palate is rich and well-structured with an abunndance of bramble and ripe strawberry fruit, warm vanilla and liquorice spice. Tannins are supple but evident and the finish is big, generous and long ...more

Bold wine like this needs some beautifully grilled red meat!  We love it with this Steak, spiced sweet potato fries and chimichurri sauce.
