Not one's to be sitting idle we are constantly researching and exploring new and old wines to bring to our shelves (and you!).  This week see's the welcome return of the Feudo Maccari Olli Grillo from Sicilia, a wine we loved before and one we are thrilled to get our mits back on!  We also are giving you another chance to try the stunning Frederic Berne Lantignie Beaujolais.

 

We want to continue to say thank you for all the support we have been given over the last year the best way we know how...by offering incredible wines at honest prices with some amazing weekly treat wines thrown in! We aren't trying to move stock with these wines, we haven't inflated any prices to give a discount, we genuinely aren't making any money on these wines... hence why we are only letting you take TWO BOTTLES MAXIMUM. 

 

 

Feudo Maccari Olli Grillo. Sicillia

 

Fresh and lightly honeyed on the nose with savoury, nutty notes and hints of citrus peel. The palate is complex with crisp citrus flavours, stone fruit, and a touch of white spice on the textured mid-palate. A subtle and multi-layered wine with immediately appealing freshness and fruit leading to a taut, savoury, mineral finish.

Frederic Berne Lantignie Beaujolais. Burgundy

 

Deep ruby red in colour, with purple tones and a wonderful display of rich aromas. The nose is enticing and spicy with black fruit and floral notes. Structured with soft tannins that lead to a finish that is fresh, complex and long.
