Lockdown Treat Week 4 - wine at silly prices (so you can only have 2 bottles)

With the end of January insight we bring you week 4 of our wine treats. For this week we have choosen a widely recognised white style that has grown an incredible fan base over the last few years and then a lesser known but no lesser tasty red option to explore, educate and enjoy. Once again we have provided two recipes to tackle while happily sipping!
We want to thank you for all your support, so these wines are at a silly low price. We aren't trying to move stock, we haven't inflated any prices to give a discount, we genuinely aren't making any money on these wines... hence why we are only letting you take TWO BOTTLES MAXIMUM.
Greywacke Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough
One of Marlborough's most celebrated Sauvignon Blanc wines, clocking up 94 James Suckling points, and from the winemaker who brought us Cloudy Bay and put the variety on the map - Kevin Judd.
Yellow fleshed peaches, rock melon and blackcurrant alongside lemon icing, chamomile and hints of rose petal - this is a delicately perfumed and deliciously ripe-fruited...more
We often think to pair cheese and wine but usually focusing on using red wines, however a Marlbrough Sauvignon Blanc such as Greywacke with it's crisp minerality and fresh acidity is the perfect match with creamy goats cheese. This week we have selected a recipe from Mary Berry and her Goats Cheese and Shallot Tart perfect for as a starter or a lighter meal.
Was £17.99
Now £13.99

'Il Passo' Nerello Mascalese, Sicily

We hope you enjoy this week's pairings, let us know how you get on, feel free to tag us on social media showcasing your efforts!
